Sunday July 22 -- Update #1 ...
Sydney says, "Thanks!" to everyone that is thinking about her & praying for her.
Good morning!
Sydney is watching "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" right now (we're trying to take her mind off of the pain) ... but, she is still in and out of her pain. Sometimes it's not too bad, other times - well, let's just says it's hard for us to watch her. That is one of the harder things we've had to get through ... it's just so tough when you just see one of your kids in that agony. You just wish you could take any & all of the pain away.
They have adjusted her pain meds a little bit, so hopefully Sydney is able to get more comfortable. Also, we just saw the ortho doctors and they are really pushing for PT to get her up and walking this morning ... we hope so. We think once she gets up and moving she will start to feel much better.
We'll keep everyone posted,

Linda Wolfenbarger shared the news with me on Friday. Because I work on a MAC (and Citi blocks blog sites) I couldn't respond before now. I sent it to my home address.
I've been praying for Sydney and family. I'm glad to see she's well on her way to recovery. I pray for strength to you and Mom. It's the hardest thing to see your child hurting.
God is good, we don't know why things happen, but we do know that he walks through it with us.

I am glad we had the chance to see you all on Friday before Sydney's surgery. That sweet little girl has been on my heart and in my prayers ever since! God is good and all will be fine. Hang in there and continue to have faith and support each other! Please let me know if I can do anything to help.

Thank God for Sydney's surgery being a success! Sorry to hear that she's in alot of pain. I can relate from when I had my back surgery. Stay positive, and continue with your faith and you'll get through this. Physical therapy is the success of her surgery, so keep encouraging her.
