Sunday Update #2 ...

Here are some updates:
Big KUDOS to Arlene (physical therapist) who helped get Sydney up for the first time in TWO days. She got Sydney out of bed and she was taking some steps.
Another long day ... so sorry about the short post. We'll leave you with this though -- Sydney said "am I taller now?!?" (with her little smile & dimples).
We'll post again tomorrow morning. Thanks for checking on her.

Jeff, Thanks so much for all the updates- and your daughter really looks good!! Children have a remarkable recovery ability, dont they? I hope you guys are able to take her home soon, she will heal so much faster at home!!

Hi, I just wanted to say hello to Sydney and let her know that the Hancock's are all thinking about her. We hope that the really painful parts are almost over so she can really kick butt on the dance floor! Kiss her for us please and we'll talk soon I hope.

Looks good Sydney--keep mom and dad under control and feel better soon. Tell dad that Paul Farrell will buy you ice cream for a week when you get out of the hospital. Make sure you listen to your physical therapists-they're smart!

Dear Jeff,
You are doing a great job with the blog. It is so helpful to those of us who want ot keep tabs on you, Karen and Sydney without bothering you. Know you must be really tired, for many reasons, not the least of which is relief to have some of this behind you. We are as near as the cell phone for ANYTHING you may need. Love to each of you and a special hug for sweet little champion Sydney!
