A couple of days away ...
Again, thank you for all of the words of encouragement, cards, phone calls, emails, comments, etc. We are soooooooo appreciative of the support.
It's only a couple of days now ... of course Karen and I get more & more nervous. But Sydney, on the other hand, knows that everything is going to be okay. It has made me stop and think -- I should have more of that childlike faith and not worry. Easier said than done ... it's so hard to do when it comes to your child.

Good luck and we are actively praying for your family. I can remember when my daughter Hannah had her open heart surgery. I wanted to take it all away. What kept us going was prayer and faith. I have found that God has used our experience w/ Hannah to help others. I am sure you will find the same. I do believe in the power of prayer. He IS and WILL keep your family safe and will carry you through this.

Dear Sydney, What a strong girl you are! We love the photos of you and your beautiful smile. We know you are going to do so well. You are in our thoughts and prayers. Be strong sweetheart, you will be back wrestling with your brother again in no time. God looks kindly upon his precious children.
